Of course, from the bonkers bit-part players who pop up to the unmistakeable authenticity of the world depicted, there’s loads of ways in which that’s influenced the show – and all for the best, too!

There’s scarcely a TV smash without some sort of Irish element at play these days – and Brassic is no different! Our very own Damien Molony and Aaron Heffernan are front and centre as Dylan and Ash, two of the gang at the heart of the story. Supporting our own is always important – but it’s rarely this funny!

While Ms. Keegan surprised some with her dramatic prowess in Our Girl – having proven her soapy credentials at length on Corrie – we haven’t had too many chances to see the actress show off her comedy chops…and now we’re wondering what took so long! It’s the imminent departure of her character, Erin, that’s behind much of the action, and Keegan plays her part in much of the laughter, too!
