What is Bring a Pal?

Bring a Pal is a referral programme for existing Virgin Media broadband customers. Once you register, you’ll receive a unique referral link to share with friends and family who may wish to join Virgin Media broadband. If they use your link, activate their broadband service and pay their first three consecutive broadband bills, you can both receive a reward, provided the programme conditions are met. 

Can anyone sign up for Bring a Pal?

You can take part if you are: 

·         An existing Virgin Media Ireland broadband customer 

·         Aged 18 years or over and resident in the Republic of Ireland. 

 

How can I get and share my unique referral link?

Register for Bring a Pal using your Virgin Media account number and the email address you used when setting up your Virgin Media account. Once registered, you’ll receive a unique referral link to share with friends and family who have agreed to receive it, using private channels such as text, WhatsApp or email. 

Who can I share my unique referral link with, and who is eligible to use it?

You can share your unique referral link with friends and family who have agreed to receive it. Please do not send it as unsolicited marketing, use it for spam, share it on AI platforms, or post it on public forums, social media pages, deal sites or similar public platforms. 

To be eligible to use the unique referral link and for both of you to receive a reward, the person you refer must: 

·         Be a new Virgin Media broadband customer 

·         Take Virgin Media broadband at a different address to your service address 

·         Complete their Virgin Media broadband order using your unique referral link 

·         Activate their Virgin Media broadband service; and 

·         Pay their first three consecutive Virgin Media broadband bills. 

Can I post my unique referral link online?

Your unique referral links will be available once you register and will be emailed to you. Unique referral links must not be shared on public platforms such as social media groups, forums, deal-sharing websites or similar sites. 

Can I send my unique referral links by email or message?

You can share your referral link by email or message with people who have agreed to receive it. Please make sure your message is welcome and not unsolicited. 

Do I need to do anything after I share my unique referral link and when will I get rewarded?

Once your friend or family member signs up using your unique referral link and activates their Virgin Media broadband service, you’ll need to remain an active Virgin Media broadband customer while they pay their first three consecutive monthly bills. After that, we’ll email you with details on how to choose your reward. 

Can I track my referrals and do I get any notifications?

You can check your referrals in your referral dashboard. We’ll send you an email when your unique referral link has been used and again when your reward is available. 

How many Rewards can I get for one referral?

One reward is available to you and one reward is available to the person you refer for each successful referral. 

Is there a limit on how many Rewards I can get?

You can receive a maximum of 10 rewards in any 12-month period. 

Can I exchange my Reward for cash?

Rewards are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. 

How long do I have to redeem my Reward?

Rewards must be redeemed within 11 months of the date they are issued. If a reward is not redeemed within that time, it will expire and cannot be reissued, exchanged or redeemed for cash. 

What happens if one of us cancels within the first 90 days?

If the person you referred does not activate their Virgin Media broadband service and pay their first three consecutive Virgin Media broadband bills, neither of you will receive the reward for that referral. You’ll also need to remain a Virgin Media broadband customer until those three bills have been paid. 

What Rewards are available?

Rewards are provided as digital gift vouchers, with a range of options available. The available reward options may change from time to time. 

What happens to my personal data?

Any personal data used for Bring a Pal will be handled in line with applicable data protection law and Virgin Media’s privacy policy. 

Bring a Pal is operated, administered and/or fulfilled by Virgin Media’s appointed third-party service provider.
