Out of Bundle call rates
There are bound to be times when you exceed your monthly allowance or want to do things which are not included in your plan - so it's a good idea to know beforehand how much you'll have to pay. All calls, SMS or data usage for international, premium, nongeographic numbers and roaming outside of the EU are not included in your plan. Using Data with Virgin Mobile
What is 4G?
4G is the next step in service (Sometimes called LTE). It delivers mobile data speeds of up to ten times faster than 3G. This means less waiting for your favourite websites, quicker downloads, and clearer calls.
What do I need to get 4G with Virgin Mobile?
If you want to 4G coverage, all you need is Virgin Mobile:
1. Speed is what we do, so every customer already has 4G coverage included in their contract. Next, all you need is a mobile device that can handle 4G speed. But guess what …
2. Every phone and SIM card we sell is 4G capable, so that’s that. All you need to do is be in a 4G coverage area. Now, ready for this?
3. We use the Three network, so this is practically a non-issue. Using their network let’s us connect 99.6% population, give 97% coverage for 3G data services, and 77.8% for 4G services.
4. Depending on what phone you have, you will see either ‘4G’ or ‘LTE’ at the top of your phone screen when you are connected to the 4G network. If you happen to leave an area with 4G coverage, your phone will automatically switch to 3G to keep your data service uninterrupted.
