Tuesday 3rd February 2026: Virgin Media Television’s groundbreaking new series The Assembly Ireland concludes on Monday, 9 February at 9pm, on Virgin Media PLAY and Virgin Media One with a fearless and revealing interview featuring Irish TV and radio personality, Ryan Tubridy.
In this bold new format, a group of autistic and neurodivergent reporters, known as ‘The Assembly’ – take control, asking the questions no one else dares, and no question is too taboo. Ryan Tubridy faces questions about his dating life, the RTÉ payment scandal, his favourite Late Late Show guests, his salary, his time hosting The Toy Show and his soul. He is even asked: if he had a magic button, what would he change about his past?
The episode ends on a high note with Rebecca performing ‘The Greatest Show’, followed by Ryan joining Kevin for a moving rendition of ‘That’s Life’ – a fitting finale to conclude this epic new Irish format.
Ryan Tubridy will also join Muireann and Tommy on the Ireland AM couch on Thursday, 5 February, his first TV interview in two years, ahead of his episode airing on Monday, 9 February. He will discuss life since leaving television, his experience on The Assembly Ireland, and some of the questions he was asked during the programme.
