An Taoiseach Micheál Martin visits the Virgin Media Television Studios

Monday, 19th January 2026: Ahead of his appearance on The Assembly - Virgin Media Television’s new series featuring well-known Irish figures interviewed by a team of autistic and neurodivergent reporters - An Taoiseach Micheál Martin visited the Virgin Media Television studios for a guest appearance on Ireland AM.

The series opens with the Taoiseach in an engaging and thoughtful conversation with the neurodivergent interviewers, offering an exchange that is open, respectful and profoundly human.

Virgin Media Ireland CEO Tony Hanway and Virgin Media Television Managing Director Áine Ní Chaoindealbháin were pleased to welcome the Taoiseach to the studios.

The Assembly Ireland highlights the power of public-service broadcasting to elevate voices that are too often unheard, and to build understanding, empathy and trust through meaningful, authentic dialogue.
