Virgin Media’s Connections for Good campaign brings experts together to focus on well-being

The campaign kicks off on Sunday’s Ireland AM

14th May 2021: We all know how important it is to look after your mental health and well-being, now more so than ever so, starting this Sunday, as part of Virgin Media’s Connections for Good ‘Well-being’ Programme, Richard Hogan, Director of the Therapy Institute and Family Psychologist, will be on Ireland AM to talk about anxiety in children and ways to help them cope with any issues they may be having.

On Monday’s Ireland AM, Gerry Hussey, one of Ireland's leading health and performance coaches, will be on to talk about the importance of taking time to pause and reflect on all the positive aspects in your life and to discuss his new book ‘Awaken your Power Within.’ Gary will also talk viewers through a simple breathing meditation for when they need help in relaxing.

He will be joined by Carlow-based mental health nurse, Hilary Young, for an interactive session on skipping with the show’s presenters to highlight the benefits of this total body workout and why movement is good for mental health and well-being.

On Wednesday’s Ireland AM, leading mental health expert, Dr. Harry Barry, will be sharing advice on how to not only cope with change, but to learn and develop from it and will also be discussing some key points from his new book ‘Embracing Change’.

Joining Elaine on Friday will be Georgie Crawford who will be speaking about The Good Glow Wellness Programme,  which is a guide to better holistic health, giving you the tools to lead a happy, healthy and more fulfilled life.
