Thursday, 16th July: Over 160 businesses have now been supported by Virgin Media’s #BackingBusiness campaign since it was launched in May. As Ireland’s leading connected entertainment provider, Virgin Media has supported businesses through their €1 Million #BackingBusiness support fund. Those selected for the campaign have enjoyed free on-air advertising across Virgin Media Channels One, Two and Three, and free creative and production support.
This week’s three businesses who will feature as part of our 60 second ad campaign are:
Limerick-based ONExU, pronounced ONE X U, is an Irish Streetwear brand that strives to create something that everyone wants to be a part of. Offering male, female and unisex clothing, every aspect of the ONExU brand has been carefully considered – from the logo to clothing designs, and even the content produced.
The second business selected this week is The Osprey Hotel. Located in Naas, The Osprey closed their doors in March but were determined to reopen as soon as it was safe to do so. The hotel is delighted to now be welcoming back new and returning guests and look forward to hosting events in the newly refurbished ballroom.
Based in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, Multyfarnham Cookery School has recently reopened, and the team are looking forward to welcoming back children and adults in the coming months. Although the classes and summer camps may look slightly different with new safety guidelines in place the team have worked hard to ensure the fun and learning is still the same!
Now in its tenth week, #BackingBusiness has featured over 160 businesses across our TV network and social media platforms. Many challenges still remain for Irish businesses across the nation as they reopen their doors and we want to continue to help them get back on their feet. Simply contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll do the rest.
