Virgin Media Sport announce UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League fixtures
Virgin Media Sport introduces 6 Extra Sport channels to ensure fans see all games across the Champions and Europa Leagues
First live match kicks off on Tuesday 18 September with Barcelona v PSV Eindhoven
Virgin Media Sport today unveiled the schedule of games that will broadcast as part of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League ahead of the channel launch on Tuesday 18th September.
Additionally, six new sport channels have also been announced and will be introduced to ensure fans don’t mix a trick. Virgin Media Sport Extra 1 -6 will host all matches broadcast during the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League.
Key fixtures that will air on Virgin Media Sport include Liverpool V Paris SG, Inter Milan v Tottenham and Real Madrid v Roma.
Providing top class commentary for fans will be a stellar squad of Irish and International football figures who will lend their expertise and experience to Virgin Media Sport, with representatives from Ireland and across Europe also on hand to bring viewers the very best insight and analysis.
Virgin Media customers are also assured they won’t miss a single match. They can record, replay, pause and watch archived matches and footage on-demand. They can use the TV Anywhere App and they can also simply press start-over during any live match (which brings them right back to kick-off time).

Virgin Media TV customers will be able to access Virgin Media Sport at no additional cost to their current monthly subscription.
Customers who avail of one of Virgin Media’s other services such as mobile or broadband will be able to access Virgin Media Sport and all live matches through the Virgin Media TV Anywhere App for free for the first two months, then at a reduced rate of €10 a month after.
Sports fans who are not currently Virgin Media customers won’t lose out. The Virgin Media TV Anywhere App will guarantee fans access to top class football, ensuring they stay up to date with their teams throughout the tournament. The service will be available for just €20 per month on a 30 day contract.
