UPC brings advanced new digital services to Donabate, Ratoath, Ashbourne and Lusk

Revolutionary new Horizon TV service now available
24th April 2015: UPC, Ireland’s leading connected entertainment provider has upgraded its network to deliver fibre-powered digital TV and superfast broadband services to homes and estates across our footprint south county Meath and north county Dublin.
Advanced new digital services will now be switched on in Donabate on 6th May, followed rapidly by the towns of Ratoath (switchover day 12th May), Ashbourne (switchover day 19th May) and Lusk (switchover day 26th May). The launch of UPC‟s next generation network will provide a major leap forward for TV and broadband customers throughout these areas. Households will now be able to benefit from UPC‟s „Connected Entertainment‟ services, including its revolutionary new Horizon TV service and superfast broadband speeds of up to 240Mbps - the fastest broadband product available in Ireland.
With Horizon, customers can now access up to 100 digital TV channels, including HD services, record four channels simultaneously while watching a fifth and enjoy multi-room viewing. UPC‟s new My Prime service is also available to Horizon customers. This is new On Demand service with access to a massive library of box sets, TV shows, blockbuster movies and children’s programming. Customers will also benefit from Horizon Go, UPC‟s mobile app for watching TV „In and Out of Home‟. This means you can watch your favourite shows live on the move or look back on programmes you’ve missed including On Demand content and catch-up TV.
