Finding The Best Big-Screen Brothers - Who Gets Your Vote?

Best Big Screen Brothers

As wild as the western winds, we’ve recently fallen in love with Eli and Charlie Sisters – better known as The Sisters Brothers, who’ve just ridden onto Virgin Movies. The film, available to rent now on Virgin Movies from €4.99, is a superb dark comedy – with its sibling assassins front and centre.

And while they might be an unlikely set of screen siblings, it’s far from the first time we’ve seen suprising sets of brothers on the box. In fact, we’ve selected a handful of the most remarkable relatives to light up some of our favourite films – but which pair gets your approval? Vote below to let us know!

ELI & CHARLIE BROTHERS

The Sisters Brothers, available to rent now on Virgin Movies from €4.99 Sibling relationships are often pretty wild – and these two are a little more out-there than most! They bring chuckles, of course, but it’s more in bullets and gun-battles that they trade; it would make you think twice about scrapping with your bro, that’s for sure!

TOMMY & BRENDAN RIORDAN

Warrior, available to rent now on Virgin Movies from €2.99 Another set of scrapping siblings, these two spent plenty of time estranged – and took their time to reconcile, too! They’re a pair of hard-hitters, certainly, but their emotional relationship has a habit of landing the biggest gut punches of the lot!

JASON & DANIEL

Dublin Oldschool, available to rent now on Virgin Movies from €2.99 They might live very different lives, but these two have a lot more in common than might be immediately apparent; neither appear to use their surname, for a start! A weekend of debauchery and dancing proves a pretty handy way of reconnecting, even if there’s a limit to how much trouble can be banished by tunes alone…

GREG AND RODRICK HEFFLEY

Diary Of A Wimpy Kid, available to rent now on Virgin Movies from €2.99 Yes, there’s a third member of the Heffley clan, but Manny is a little too young to be involved – and we’ll bet he’s glad of that! It’s a rare moment when these two aren’t at each others necks…even if it turns out to be decent preparation for Greg dealing with a new school – it couldn’t possibly be as tough as hanging out at home!
