Meet the three new Love Island 2019 contestants

Love Island Catchup

You just never know what those Love Island producers have up their sleeves – and last night didn’t half show that! Between Michael leaving Joanna to pack her bags and head home, and the small matter of three new contestants, we’re shook…

While we’re on the subject of new contestants – we’re THRILLED with the arrival of Limerick native Greg (please steal Maura from Curtis, the nation holds it breath!), but it’ll be interesting to see what kind of an impact they’ll make with less than two weeks to go to the big finale.

The only lad of the newly introduced trio, Our Greg describes himself as sociable and happy go lucky – and says he’s looking for a girl who’s confident and “knows her worth.” And, as an Irish rugby sevens international, you know he’s not afraid of a try (sorry!)

Asked about which girl he fancies in the villa – well, he’s only given the typical Irish response and singled out Maura as an object for his attention. “I need to get in the villa and see what the story is and who is good craic! I’d say me and Maura will hit it off straight away, being two Irish people and she’s hilarious. She’s very naturally funny and she’s gorgeous as well so you never know.”

Curtis: you’ve been warned!

Mind, should the hotstepper find himself flying solo, 20 year old Harley from Newcastle isn’t pulling any punches when it comes to the type of lad she likes.

“My perfect guy would be lovely and tanned. I need a man, I don’t want a boy, I need someone who will take care of me and put me in my place. My whole life I’ve had everything given to me on a plate so I need someone to give me the chase.”

With Michael newly available, the cheeky Liverpudlian MIGHT fit this bill…but it doesn’t look like she’s going to have a problem disturbing an existing couple either!

“I’ll always tell a girl first if I like the guy they are coupled up with but if I’ve told the girl, then the game is on. I wouldn’t be sneaky or snakey but if I’ve told someone I like someone, don’t think I’m going to hold back.”

Last but definitely not least is model India from Reading.

The 28-year-old says she’s given up on online dating after some bad experiences – and says she doesn’t want to have any arguments with other girls in the villa – but she’s got her eye on one lad in particular.

“I want to have a good time and I don’t like falling out with people so hopefully I can be friends with the girls and gorgeous Ovie will still be single for me.

“Michael is good looking too,” she added – suggesting single-dom arrived just in time for him!”

We can’t wait to see how they fair after their first night in the villa last night – tune in to Virgin Media Two tonight from 9pm to see for yourself!
