OK, so we have to admit that we’re not 100% sure on the historical accuracy of Yorgos Lanthimos’ madcap comedy. What we can say with complete confidence, however, is that movies like this don’t come along everyday! Olivia Colman is supreme as Queen Anne – as her Oscar proves – while Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz are exceptional as her ladies-in-waiting. Brilliantly bonkers, it’s one to savour – even if you won’t find it in history books!
