The Best Moments From Dancing On Ice – So Far!

Dancing On Ice 2020

When it’s frosty outside, you’d think we’d be happiest watching something to warm us up – but it turns out that the opposite is true! It’s all about pulling on the legwarmers and sequins these days, as Dancing On Ice leaps, spins and Lutzes its way onto our screens on Virgin Media One, Sundays at 6pm!

With the pride of Longford, Maura Higgins, and our footy pal Kevin Kilbane involved, there’s plenty of Irish interest – but that’s only part of the reason to get stuck in. Because while we’re only a few weeks in, there’s already been loads of excitement…

We know we weren’t the only ones impressed by the skating skills of Caprice Bourret; who knew a Californian would be this comfortable on the rink?! Picking Lewis Capaldi as an accompaniment was an inspired choice, too; suddenly, it all felt pretty romantic. And we thought Love Island was the show meant to get our hearts racing! Speaking of which…

Obviously, we’re going to be cheering on our Maura regardless – but getting a little flavour of villa life was quite the treat! We’re not sure who we’d have to talk to about getting a full-time mash-up show running, but we reckon it’d do serious business. Though you would be worried if the show was destined to end up full of melts – sorry!!

Look, we’re not watching these shows because people stick around – we’re tuning in because people get eliminated! Trisha was the unfortunate contestant to be on the first bus out this time, even if she can console herself with the fact that she made it to the show proper; Michaell Barrymore broke his wrist in training and never even got to compete!

OK, now this is what it’s all about! There’s great fun to be had watching the famous faces get to grips with the challenge, of course, but there’s also something fascinating about how easy the experts make it look. Imagine how long the show would have to last for our celebs to get this good?!
