ComReg issued an Information Notice on the 5th March 2020 (ComReg 20/12) in which it was noted that, following an investigation by ComReg, Virgin Media has agreed to refund some of its customers as a result of charges ComReg viewed as not being fully transparent. These refunds relate to the period 1 September 2016 to 27 October 2017 and all customers impacted are being refunded. Virgin Media has also agreed to take a number of other steps which include publishing a single consolidated price list on its website. A link to the price list can be found on the bottom of Virgin Media’s website www.virginmedia.ie and a working link to it is incorporated in our contracts. The steps that Virgin Media has agreed to take are without any admission of liability or wrongdoing on Virgin Media’s part.
