How to log into your modem

Virgin Media Hub

1. Open up your Internet browser and type: 192.168.0.1 into your address bar to open the modem login page.

 

2. Once the login window opens type in your settings password (which can be found underside your hub) and click 'Continue'.

 
 

Cisco 3925 and EPC 2425

1. Type 192.168.1.1 into your browser’s address bar to log on to the modem page.

 

2. Leave both User Name and Password blank.

 

 
 

Thomson TWG870

1. Type 192.168.0.1 in your browser’s address bar to log on to the modem page.

 

 

2. Leave the username blank, enter admin as the password, and click OK.

1. Type 192.168.0.1 into your browser’s address bar to log on to the modem page.

 

 

2. Enter both username and password as admin and click Login.

 

 
 
 
 

How to find/change your wireless username/password

Virgin Media Hub

Click Configure your WiFi connection. You can also change your network (SSID) name here.

To change your WiFi password, simply click Change.

Type in your new password and click Apply.

 
 

Cisco 3925 and EPC 2425

Click Setup.

 

You can change the Wireless Network Name (SSID) and Password (pre-shared key) to something you’ll remember.

Click Wireless.
On the left of the page, click Primary Network.
You can change password where it says WPA Pre-Shared Key.

Click Apply.

Click Security on the left of the page to see the Password (Passphrase). You can change it here.

How do I change the wireless settings on my Horizon box?

To change the wireless settings on your Horizon box, simply:

 

1. Connect an ethernet cable to the back of your Horizon box.

2. Connect the other end of the cable to your laptop / pc / mac

3. Open an internet explorer page and in the address bar type gwlogin.net

 

You will now be presented with the modem login screen

 

1. Simply enter admin as the username and password

2. Click on the Wireless settings tab and you will now be able to adjust the wireless settings listed below:

 

1. SSID - network name

2. Password

3. Wireless channel

 

Note: Keep the details of your new wireless network name and password safe as we do not keep a record of your wireless network details.
