The price of our broadband is going up for some customers in 2019.

From January 2019, the price of our broadband services will increase by €3.50 a month for some customers. If you are impacted you will have received a notification of the increase by letter or email in October and November.

The information sent in the communications mentioned above is correct as of August 20th 2018, so if you have made any changes to your account since this date, this may no longer be relevant for you.

What happens next?

We really hope you’ll stay with us and continue to enjoy your Virgin Media package. But if you want to cancel or change your service, you can do so without penalty if you are out of contract by giving us 30 days’ notice. If you are in contract, you can do this without penalty any time before your first bill date of 2019. Simply call us on 1908.

I’ve received my bill and the price of my package has increased, why is that?

How will I know if I’m affected by the changes?

We contacted all of those affected by email or letter in October or November.

I currently receive a discount on my pack. Will this change?

No. Any discount you currently receive will be unaffected by the increase and any concessions you have will continue as normal.

I am out of contract. How much notice do I have to give if I want to change providers?

If you’re out of contract, you will be able to cancel at any time without penalty by giving us 30 days’ notice.

I am in contract. How much notice do I have to give?

If you are still in contract, you will be able to cancel without penalty by giving us 30 days’ notice any time before your first bill date of 2019.
