New pricing for some customers

From May 2024, the price of some of our services will change:

·  The price of some older broadband services will increase by €4 a month

·  The price of some older TV viewing services will increase by €4 a month

All impacted customers will receive an email or letter from us in March to let them know what the changes mean for them. If you don’t receive a communication, then your price will not be changing.

We’ve included some FAQs to answer any queries you may have. Read on to find out more.

How much is the price increase?

The increase will be €4 a month for some older broadband services and €4 a month for some older TV services.

When will price change take effect?

The changes will take effect from your next bill after 1st May 2024.

Why is this price change happening?

We work very hard to keep our prices competitive while balancing this with the need to continue investing in more of what you enjoy and want from us in terms of capacity and content. This price change will help us continue to invest in our Broadband and TV services so we can continue to improve our broadband network in Ireland and improve our TV content. It will also help us cover the rise in costs we have all seen with the increase in inflation over the last year.

How will I know if I’m affected by the changes?

Affected customers will receive a notification of the increase in March by email or letter.

I currently receive a discount on my pack. Will this change?

No. Any discount you currently receive will be unaffected by the increase and any concessions you have will continue as normal.

When must I notify Virgin Media of my intention to cancel?

You can cancel your service at any time without penalty before your effective date by calling 1908 or through the online cancellation details provided to you in the communication you received from us.
