New pricing for some customers

From May 2026, the price of some of our services will change: 

· The price of some broadband services will increase by €4.50 a month 

· The price of some TV viewing services will increase by €4.50 a month 

All impacted customers will receive an email or letter from us in late March or early April 2026 explaining what these changes mean for them. If you don’t receive a communication, then your price will not be changing.

How much is the price increase?

The increase is €4.50 a month for some broadband services and €4.50 a month for some TV services. 

When will the price change take effect?

The changes will take effect from your next bill after 1st May 2026. Your exact effective date will be outlined in your communications. 

Why is this price change happening?

We work very hard to keep our prices competitive while balancing this with the need to continue investing in more of what you enjoy and want from us in terms of capacity and content. This price change will help us continue to invest in our services so we can continue to improve our broadband network in Ireland and improve our TV content.

How will I know if I’m affected by the changes?

If you are impacted, you'll receive a notification of the increase in March or early April 2026 by email or letter. 

I currently receive a discount on my pack. Will this change?

No. Any discount you currently receive will be unaffected by the increase and any concessions you may have will continue as normal. 

When must I notify Virgin Media of my intention to cancel?

You can cancel your service anytime without penalty before your
effective date by following the instructions provided in the communication you
received from us.

I received my communication by letter but would have preferred email

You may have received this communication by letter because you don't have an email address on your account or if we attempted to email and it bounced. Please add/check that your details are correct through your My Virgin Media App or My Virgin Media account.
