Free and Unlimited Wi-Fi for the hospitality sector with new Bitbuzz Go
The Stillorgan Park Hotel, a Talbot Hotel, first to introduce the service
Dublin, Ireland – Wednesday, 20th May 2015 – Bitbuzz, Ireland’s leading provider of managed Wi-Fi hotspots across the hospitality sector and acquired by UPC Business has today announced the launch of their latest service, Bitbuzz Go.
By providing an alternative to the traditional wired access, Bitbuzz Go offers free and unlimited Wi-Fi to end users while they avail of the services of hotels, cafes, bars and other hospitality. Whether location, speed to delivery or desire for backup is the challenge, Bitbuzz Go can make the difference between keeping a business running or letting customers down.
Previously hotel guests were required to avail of vouchers to sign up and connect to the hotel’s Wi-Fi service. With Bitbuzz Go, access to internet services becomes much simpler with guests no longer required to obtain vouchers or register usernames and passwords. Customers availing of this service simply click on the WiFi logo and follow the steps to activate the service.
In addition, the hotel’s internet usage will no longer be subjected to a cap, meaning that the hotel will not have to pay additional fees once their maximum usage level is reached and exceeded.
Daragh O’Neill, General Manager of Stillorgan Park Hotel said: “Wi-Fi is continuously one of the most important services that our guests require and is often a key decision making factor for them when choosing where to stay. While access in public areas such as the lobby, restaurant and bars is important, it’s the ability to provide a good connection in an in-room capacity that will set us apart.
“The new Bitbuzz Go, enabled by UPC Business, gives us a significant competitive edge by allowing us to provide our guests with quality high speed- broadband, free of charge. This is what our customers have been demanding and we are delighted to now offer the service.”
Russell McQuillan, Business Development Director, Bitbuzz said: “Today we are launching a new service for the hospitality sector called Bitbuzz Go. It is a brilliant example of the many innovative services now available from Bitbuzz and will play an important role in removing barriers to better connectivity. In addition, our customers get the benefit of being powered by the country’s fastest network through UPC Business and can cleverly meet the changing demands of their customers.” You can find out more about Bitbuzz Go via email: partners@bitbuzz.com
