Our two-year graduate scheme is based in Limerick, Ireland – where we provide a wide range of business areas covering TV, broadband, mobile and fixed voice communications. These include the country’s fastest network speeds, and our very own TV channels!
During the scheme, you will get a chance to explore a full spectrum of our Operations Management roles, including Contact Centre Sales, Retention, Complaints, Quality and Messaging. You’ll begin your journey at the frontline of our business, learning how to manage a call centre and understand our customers’ needs – ensuring that we’re available to support them how and when they want to interact with us.
You’ll also experience our exciting culture and engagement across the business. And, be given responsibility to develop your people management skills, solve various customer problems and contribute towards our ever-increasing success in the industry.
How are you going to get there?
The Operations Management scheme is both diverse and challenging, so you should be a resilient all-rounder with outstanding communication skills, commercial acumen and the confidence to challenge the status quo.
We operate in an energetically-paced digital marketplace where projects can change direction with the click of a mouse. You’ll need to be able to move with the times and make quick-witted decisions, even if you don’t have all the information at hand.
That, and a 2.1 or above degree in any of the following subjects:
· Retail & Services Management
· HR Management
· Business Management
· Business Studies
Ideally, you’ll also demonstrate a level of relevant experience i.e. working in business whilst studying, involved in club/society management or previous call centre experience.
This role is based at Virgin Media in Limerick and you must be both motivated and eligible to work in this location for the duration of the two-year Graduate Scheme.
